be delusional

Dark cinematic landscape

delusion sounds bad, right? who wants to be delusional?

but maybe being a little delusional is one of the greatest things you can do. without it, we mentally cap our potential. we question ourselves. we doubt ourselves. we think, "i can't do what they're doing."

that's a lie.

the people we call "the greats" had an unreasonable belief in themselves. they left no stone unturned because they believed they had a shot. without that belief, nothing extraordinary happens. no company. no breakthrough. no product that changes the world.

every person who has become wildly successful endured obscene amounts of struggle. no pain, no gain isn't cliché - it's structural. something strong requires pressure.

building the courage to pursue an ambitious dream is hard. but it's a superpower.

as roon says:

"we live in a world where courage is in far shorter supply than genius."

don't waste your life believing you're not capable of something extraordinary. we create imaginary shackles in our own minds. we convince ourselves we're not "the chosen one."

but maybe you are.

you don't need permission.

be delusional.
